The Headfort Summer Academy seeks to offer 9 am-4 pm
wrap-around summer academy for children who have completed
Junior Infants -14 years.
There will be a taste of Headfort’s normal activities, enabling children to have an enjoyable summer camp, whilst also laying the groundwork for their next academic year at school. Furthermore, they will be able to meet up with school friends and make some new ones along the way.

FAQs
Can I register for just one week?
Yes. On the registration form, there is an option to select one or both of the weeks during August.
Is lunch provided?
No. We ask the students to bring a packed lunch each day, along with a water bottle and any snacks they would like. The Summer Academy will provide some snacks through the day but no substantial meal. Cereal and toast is on offer to those availing of an early drop-off.
Is the Summer Academy residential?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a boarding experience to Summer Academy students. In the future, we would love to be able to do so.
How will groups be separated?
Students will be assigned to class groups with students of a similar age. This will be their bubble in order to reduce close-contact with the other students. A house points system will be in place to unite students from across the Summer Academy.
Can I work for the Summer Academy?
We would be interested to hear from students looking to volunteer for work experience and from more qualified people, looking to develop their skills through co-ordinating different activities with different age groups. Send us an email and let us know who you are!
